We serve veterans of all ages who need assistance with their daily living activities to help them live independently. The following are the requirements to qualify for home care:
- Veterans must need the assistance of at least two (2) activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting/incontinence care.
- Service location/veteran’s home must be adequately safe/sanitary for services to be provided.
- After ADL care has been completed, assistance with instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), such as medication reminders, limited meal preparation, and laundry/light housekeeping can be done.
- The veteran and their family/household members agree to abide by the program guidelines. The veteran and their family/household members and agency caregivers are all required to be respectful and courteous to each other at all times. Inappropriate behavior will result in termination of home care services.
